about me

My journey into counselling began after experiencing PTSD following a serious car accident. Finding the right support and rebuilding my own sense of safety changed my life and inspired me to leave my corporate job and retrain as a therapist.

Today, I work with adults and young people (13+) experiencing anxiety, low mood, depression, relationship struggles, academic stress, trauma responses, and general emotional overwhelm.

my approach

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I use a warm and relational style and draw from evidence-based therapeutic approaches:

  • Person-centred therapy
  • Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Attachment-theory
  • Trauma-informed methods
  • Somatic awareness & grounding

Together, we explore what works best for you.

my qualifications

  • Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling  accredited by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)
  • Certificate in Introduction to Clinical Psychology from The University of Queensland
  • Certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies from The Trauma Research Foundation
  • Trauma-informed Counselling from The Open University
  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) from Public Health Scotland
  • Mental Health First Aid from MHFA England

I am an Accredited Registrant of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
